Carpenter flasher wrasse quarantine

So I purchased a carpenter flasher wrasse and is currently in my 10 gallon QT tank. My question is, should I start using cupramine tomorrow or not use cupramine at all? I've read that wrasses don't do well with cupramine but I've always quarantined this way. I get the fish and allow one day to be in the QT tank and than I start the cupramine treatment for 2 weeks, followed by 2 weeks of just staying in the QT tank before transferring to the main tank. Any input would help, thanks!

If you want to continue to use copper then try one with chelated copper in it, like Coppersafe. Chelated copper is much easier on the fish. Be sure to use only an API test kit if using chelated copper.
