carpet anemone update any thoughts?

ok the anemone has changed shape and when I try to push him a bit with the airstone, he is attached....he also seems to bubble up in spots when I put a bit of pressure on him with the airhose...good or bad? He does have this white CHUNK of stuff still kinda hanging out of his "mouth"

Very good that it's attached. White stuff is not good, but hard to say how bad. Sometimes when disturbed an anemone will eject digestive filaments.

ok, if it is changing shape and color is it living? safe to go in the tank, we have dripped it for about 3 hours

put it in with extreme caution...

If it begins to melt immediately get a hose to siphon and suck out the nem...

do you feed your sliver side or krill to your nem?
if so, that white chunk will be the undigested food.

I say leave it and watch closely if it starts to melt get it out. Stop poking it you'll only make it worse. They don't like to be disturbed. Stress will kill them.

Can we see another picture of the carpet anemone? If we can ID it, then it will make it easier for us to tell you how to care for it.
