How to update Euroquatics A1/A1P

Still like them. I did notice my Acros were not coloring up as I'd expected. Granted, they are on corner frag racks and not getting the most direct light. I added a couple Populargrow Blue light bars and they seem to be coloring up now.

It's supposed to rain all weekend so, I should be able to make some progress on the basement (if we don't get a visit from our daughter, granddaughter and new grandson lol). I think when I get the 150 going, I'm going with 6 of the A1's and 2-3 light bars.
I'm moving slower than you George. Still trying to get my basement filtration room finished. Finally got a new utility sink plumbed in this week. Now I'm working on building a platform for the 125g sump. I keep sitting here looking at the new lights still in the boxes in my living room. Hopefully by the end of summer I should be getting closer to setting them up.

That is good news. You had me a little worried when they were randomly flashing. I will more than likely add T5's on the sides. I wanted three in the front and back, but the LED fixtures are too big. Maybe just one in the front and back. Hopefully this will help with some shading issues. Either that or I am thinking of adding 3 fixtures over three islands for a total of 9 fixtures. That might be enough.

Better hurry up because I am definitely beating you at this pace! :p

The flashing turned out to just be the storm mode so, it's all good.

I'm really liking the Populargrow Blue LEDs. They're basically knockoff Orpheks and at 4' they're 108 watts and a nice supplement to the A1's. The only downside is, they're not dimmable like the Orpheks but, they're about half the price.

You'll beat me for sure. Boating season officially started for us last weekend. So, as long as the river levels stay good and the weather is nice, we'll be out on the Mississippi every weekend. We're still trying to decide on our week long lake trip. Do we want to go when the fishing is better or when it's warmer and we can actually get in the water? Hmmm.
