carpet feeding schedule?

i have seen feeding shcedules anywhere from every day , to 2 times a week.
my carpet is approx 10"-11" across (not quite as big as a dinnerplate)
loves silversides...eats them up quick!
i would love to know what you feed yours, and how often. i would like to feed as little as possible, but i DO NOT want her to move. i worry too little feeding will make her travel to "greener" pastures and destroy my tank:eek1:

she hosts a tomato, if that makes a difference...

thanks!

I currently have 5 Haddonis, and I only feed them every 3-4 weeks -- frozen (( thawed )) krill.

However, one of mine I have been feeding more often over the last couple of months. Long story short, last March it spawned (( due to stress )) and really hasn't been looking itself since then -- the other Haddoni in that tank has been acting/looking normal. I have noticed it looking better, once it is back to itself I will go back to my normal feeding schedule for it.

wow!
i'm feeding almost daily...and you feed every few weeks. that is huge difference!
looked again, and i don't think my first size estimate was correct, she is bigger than 12" across... at least as big as a dinner plate (when "flat")

anyone else???

My biggest/oldest is about 15" across, give or take, and is 10+ years old. I like to, somewhat, control their size/growth by not feeding as often.

I do the same thing. When my haddoni reaches around 16" I cut way back on feeding. Right now it's about 14". I feed it about once or twice a month, and it grabs food I feed the fish. It's in a bigger tank now, so I'm thinking about keeping up on the feedings even after it reaches 16". I'm kinda curious how big it will get.
