Carribean Anemone Host

I would jsut like to say that during the summer, i bought 3 pink tip anemones(carribean) and they are snow white with orange bases. in m tank i also have a small percula clownfish, and i almost guaranteed he would show no interest in the anemones.i was right, at least in the beginning. my clown at first did his business, but after a two weeks, i woke up to an amoazing sight. m clown was frolicking in the anemones, futsing around, wriggling and settling in the tentacles. it was a beautiful sight. i would just like to say that those of you who had a doubt about this type of anemone being a host. dont lose hope becaue it can happen.

While it is true that occassionally clownfish will enjoy a Condylactis from time to time, I wouldn't put it past the anemone to eat the hosting fish. Be careful.

I have had condy's host maroons and tomatoes for extended periods of time with no losses. I would be careful with smaller fish though. being white is not a good sign they should be cream colored at the very least, with a truly healthy one being bright pink or brown.

Im a newbie and I ordered a condy with a percula and I hope they can coexist. Reading this gives me hope since I didnt read about host anemones before I ordered(newb mistake I know but its so exciting I couldnt wait hehe). From what I have read in this thread it would be a good idea to keep the anemone well fed. What can I prepare for the anemone to eat so that its so full it doesnt want to eat its friend?
