K well I need a job, and I was thinking about it while I was washing my car... then it came to me lol. Does anybody need some car detailing? My car is so clean and it stays that way. I take off the tires, clean EVERYTHING inside and out, clean the rims, vacuum, do the dash and paneling, windows, wax, the WHOLE shmeel. I will post a picture of my car so you can see what I mean. I am doing the exterior today, but I wont be doing the interior till tommarrow. Let me know with a pm. thanks.

You guys are amazing. At this rate I should start a business. I love this forum I wish I had thought of this sooner lol. For all of you I pm'd, I am in class right now, and I will check my pm's at around 12:30.

If you get a trailer, pressure washer, steam cleaner, and water tanks... along with the correct soap, wax, clay bar, etc... you can make quite a bit of money.

You can set a schedule, go to offices, wash a few cars and make some good money.

ya lol... if... but I am not doing engines anyways so I dont need the pressure washer or the steam cleaner. I have been doing alot of research, and it seems to me that steam cleaning is too harsh on engines anyways... I am not going to do this for a living lol. I just do an awesome job on my own car, and people were asking me who does my car, so I was like hmm.... and here I am lol. I am doing my engine today or tommarrow if it doesnt stop raining... we'll see how it goes. I am prolly gonna get set with the clay bar and the lube and stuff that goes with it soon. I don't have the money for it yet though.

a decent claybar set can be had for $20 at the autoparts store.

Steam cleaning is used a lot for interiors and a pressure washer for outsides of the vehicle (pulls water from the tank).

If you don't want to do it for a lot of money, you wont need most of those things.

ya, I'm gonna get a claybar set soon. I thought you meant the steaming the engine. I read it works great, but is hard on the engine. and I thought you meant pressure washer for the outside of the car, I read that it pushes the dirt against the car and can scratch it.

I've got a wet-dry vacuum (the kind meant for carpets) that does a great job on car interiors if you wanna borrow it Freddy.

thank you soo much andy. I have an 18 gallon 6.5 h/p wet dry that I borrowed for when my tank overflowed I still have lol. thanks though.

Freddy, get yourself some simple green from walmart...and with that u can clean engines, chrome rims without causing any damage at all. Of course u have to mix it up I use one ounce for every two ounces of water. I use to detail cars for a living...if you wanna go big, get yourself a Milwauke Buffer, another great investment. Good Luck...

I use simple green, but I dont want to touch anyone elses engine. Just for my own good lol. but thanks alot joey
