I'm in need of catching the Flame Angel in are 120 he is just to much fish. I've tried using a clear plastic bowl that I have used before but he isnt getting near this. I would like to get him out soon because he is picking on are new Naso and the other fish in the tank. Any help would be great or tip's

Thanks

The Ultralife Trap has worked for me.

If it's the type with the dropping door don't hold on to the string though. I swear they can feel your tension through the string. Set a weight on it that can be knocked off without breaking.

$10 is a good price too.

how big is the flame? Was it one of the first fish added to the tank? What are you doing with it once you catch it?

I think will end up getting that trap from you multi striped 12. I would like to catch both angels from the 120 system. The Flame is not really big about 3 inches, he is just very aggressive in the tank with the other fish, but has been one of the first added to the system. We also have a Coral Beauty that’s about 2.5 inches in the tank, they don’t get along very well. They came with the tank when we bought it and I would like to get some Anthias and Chromis in the tank instead.

That angel is getting the royal flush once caught!! (no just kidding we wouldn't do that). We where going to sell them once caught or take the to lfs if no one is interested in the.
The 2 angels aren't bad it's just that the flame chases the coral beauty a little bit but not bad. We just don't want them because the flame is agressive when we put new fish in the tank and would rather not have angels. The coral beauty isn't aggressive at all. Both fish are well established in the aquarium and get most of there food from picking off the algea on the rocks.
