Catching damsels

I was wondering if anyone has any way to catch damsel fish without completely dismantling a tank? Last year when my tank was new I let my mom pick out some fish when she was visiting and stupid me let her get 3, three striped damsels. Well, fastforward a year and they grew into lottle terrors. They bully everything and i was wanting to get them out of the main tank and put tgem in the sump. I'm pretty sure I'll end up having to tear it down to get them but I'd figure I'd ask, Thanks in advance!

Is your damsels a greedy one? If yes, just do a DIY fish trap using bottle.
Lure it with some fish food & you got your damsel.

I had caught my damsel using this fish trap.

2# test and the smallest fly fishing hook you can find. Bait it with a mysid shrimp and if the damsel is an aggressive feeder (of course it is!), then you'll catch it in less than a minute. Just be careful not to catch the other fish.

Yes, I'm serious. This works very well and it's fun. :0)

Fish traps (even a homemade 2L bottle one) or fish hook are both good methods.

If the tank isn't huge, the high and dry method works well too.

ok, they are pretty aggressive eaters, so ill give these a shot, figure ill try the trap first, before I go fishing lol. Thanks!
