catching damsels

Yes something only a newbie can ask..lol...I have got these two damsels talked into by the guy at petland..and trying to get them out I have seen a couple of ways both seem rather like tearing into starving them or pulling all the rock out..seems these are the only methods ..maybe confusing them by turning lights off and catching them at 2 am as a third option.. anybody want to catch a couple of cutties have any ideas ..thanks mary

Have you tried treble hooks?

Seriously....they sell traps for fish. Kinda pricey, but they probably work if you have the time to wait. Someone on here may have one.

When I needed my damsel out I used the water bottle method. Just cut off the top section of a water or coke bottle and invert it into the bottom. Put some food in there and the fish will go in and not easily be able to get out.

Crumbletop has a trap that works well. You may want to PM him and ask to borrow it.

Yep. I have a trap. It was really easy to build and the door snaps shut very quickly. You need to make sure the fish is all the way in the trap.
