My 4" long Clown Fairy Wrasse ( Solorensis) has developed fin rot in his caudal fin. It looks like a fish is picking on him.
What I find weird is that the damage does not change at all
( after 3 months)and it is not affected the other fins.
It does not heal and it does not get any worse.
Could it be something that is not bacteria related? A while ago I treated my tank with Melafix and same thing......
There is absolutely no fish picking on him.
In addition to that, I stopped by a local fish store and I saw a beautiful Hawaiian Flame wrasse, however, he also had caudal fin rot that looked just like the one on my Solorensis...... and he was in the company of a tiny ocelaris clownfish, so I guess that no fish is picking on him.
Any idea what could it be?
