going to be trimming my caulerpa prolifera soon
any one need a handful or two?

I read where it helps with nitrates do u know if thats true? Because if it is I really need some ASAP I have a huge Nitrate problem and don't know what to do

yes it helps some cheato algea works a bit better IMO britt.. also water changes and feed alot less fish dont need food everyday..

Which is the best for nitrates? I have no algae in my tank at all. I have some live rock but it is just now starting to grow.

EMTbritt0310 - how high is your nitrate? Caulerpa and other macroalgae can help reduce nitrate, but you really need to figure out the reason for the high level. Doing large water changes back to back reduces nitrate levels greatly. You can change 30% or more at a time without causing any problem as long as you match the salinity, alkalinity, and temperature of old and new water closely.

My nitrates in both tanks are about 160 I don't know whats going on I did water changes again today
