Ok you have a Sailfin tang in a 29gal and the caulerpa is out of control.
It sounds like you have a nutrient problem and you are over feeding. The only reason that the caulerpa is growing is that there is plenty of nutrients for it to grow, it will continue to be out of control until you take care of the source of what is feeding the algae.
Cut back on feeding and that will stunt the caulerpa growth and the now hungry tang should take care of the rest.
After the algae problem is under control consider getting an appropriate sized tank for the tang!
the tang was bought for this reason only. he is going back to the store after im done using him. i have hardly fed the tank in 2 weeks. the tang is the only fish in there the rest are inverts. i guess the rest is just a waiting game.
