I have a (Cladiella) Cauliflower Colt coral that has split into about seven seperate offsprings from the parent coral. The issue is every other coral in my tank, Brain, Xenia, Candy Cane, Slipper, Frogspawn, Hammer and mushroom coral are all doing great, however the Cauliflower and its offsrings are all closed. Is this just a cycle they go through, or do I have some unseen chemical battle going on in my tank? Has anyone had a similiar situation? My phosphates and nitrates are very low. In fact my nitrates are les than 20 ppm and my phosphates are lower using the Seachem test. I do use iodine. Does this sound like something to be alarmed about? for those of you familiar with the care of (Cladiella) Cauliflower Colt coral.
