caulking question...

what caulikng is safe to use on/in tanks? I have just aquired a 24 gallon tank that the bottom plastic support is broken and the caulking is pulling away from the glass. I figured I would just remove all existing caulking and repair from there? Any comment's or solutions are welcome.

GE Silicone 1 is aquarium safe. It can be purchased at either of the big home improvement stores.

I thought it was GE #5.....correct me if I am wrong.

Or you can buy "Aquarium sealent" from Walmart in the fish section, only for a few bucks and works great. Have used it on several projects before.

It is 1 and not 5
