Cause for concern?

I recently set up a 4L x 2W x 1H lookdown aquarium and noticed a small chip after i filled it. It's inside the glass (cant feel it when i run my finger across it on both sides of the pane). it also doesn't seem to be affecting the silicone seam.

The chip is about 5 inches below the surface of the water.

for size reference, the glass is 1/2" thick

Should i be concerned at all? or is it merely a cosmetic problem (which i can deal with)

Here is a pic

The chip is about half as deep as it is in pic above when viewing from the other side of the glass pane.

Best bet is to send that picture to the manufacture. It looks like it should be no problem but I would check for sure.

It looks sheerly cosmetic... I wouldn't worry about it, especially because it's a Miracles tank. Where'd you find it?

Thanks for the replies all :)

So far it has held water for 24hours, and the chip doesnt appear to have grown at all (been measuring with a fine artist ruler hourly).

Also sent an email to miracles. hope to hear back from them
