CBB vs aiptasia

My CBB has finally settled in after 2 weeks of being in my 120g tank. He spends all day swimming around picking at the rocks and i have him eating frozen mysis shrimp. Now my question is this: I bought him to hopefully eat some of the hundreds of aptasia i have and so far he has shown no interest. Are there any ways to make the little pests look more appetizing?

dont feed him. lol i have one and it eats what ever i give it and what ever feather dusters and aptasia it finds, but i no longer have any in the DT so ive been harvesting the ones i have in the fuge to supplement it diet.

Well if you have that many aiptasia you may not notice the few he has eaten. Give it a month or two and you should start to notice a difference.

My experience with my currrent CBB was that one day after around five weeks he decided aptasia was delicious and they all disappeared, almost overnight. Now, after a couple years, she still loves the smaller tastier ones but won't eat the big ones often, I have to kill those. Addiotionally she doesn't work very hard, if they are under a coral or in a crevice they are ignored.

I actually grow some aptasia on frag disks for her in my raceway for treats, and to prove to myself she still eats them. She really goes after those!

alright thanks guys. hopefully my luck changes and he decides that aiptasia are good to eat or ill have to go back to the drawing board on getting rid of them.
