CC Starfish

Hi All,

I know it is said that the CC Starfish is not reef safe. Does anyone currently have one with a reef? Or does anyone know what corals they will eat? I got one with some fish from a friend tearing down his tank. I was just wondering if I can keep it with certain corals or if it is just not safe at all.

It's really cool so I'd like to keep it if possible, I just don't want it to eat the whole tank...

Thanks in advance!

i dont think its safe at all
read if it can catch them it will eat snails and shrimp too

looks like it will eat just about anything

Mine seems okay with anemones. I had both a Mag and a BTA with a chocolate chip and I've never had any problems.

As for corals, I've never seen it attack my corals but I highly suspect that it went after my beginner corals.

You can try to feed it to keep it happy, but I wouldn't trust it. It's more for a fish-only tank.

Thanks for the info!

I wish I could post on the selling forum. I would like to put up the CC Starfish I have for adoption or trade to a good home. Pickup only in the Fargo, ND area.

I would love to keep it but I don't want to risk it eating all the corals and inverts...:(
