Well I have to say I am less than impressed by your frags. Am I wrong to exspect base encrustatoin?By that I mean frags that werent mounted just a month ago. I just got in 4 certified fragsand only 1 has halfway decent encrustation of the mount and the midnight stag had every branch busted off. They were shipped with enough water but were just rolling around in the bag. 3 of the 4 fish I ordered were dead (water was cold as heck)I guess all the build up Ive read about how good your stuff is gave me higher expectations of what I thought Id receive. I would not normaly spend over 400$ on retail goods unless they are cherry pic. Thats what i thought I was paying for. One more thing ,the 6" squamosa I payed125$ for was 5" at best and looks nothing like the pic? sorry to be a complainer but I have recently decided to get what i pay for and settle for nothing less:(

redox,

We apologize for your disappointment with your recent order. We will be happy to credit you for all of the concerns you have experienced with this purchase. Please contact us by phone at 1-800-334-3699, email to techsupport@drsfostersmith.com, or PM us with your customer information so that we may compensate you fully.

In regards to the length of time each coral will need to cover the base depends on the individual coral. Some corals may require a longer period of time to encrust while others grow rather quickly. Each coral is inspected before shipment. Our corals are only shipped when they are completely encrusted on the base they are fused to.

We look forward to hearing from you so we can resolve this matter to your satisfaction.

well these must have gotten past quality control. I know about growth rates of different acropora and I have simmilar species to what i purchased from you, and what i got from you grows that much in the first month. Im sorry but these frags are not that old I would love to have em look like the pics on your web site. The clam has opened fully and he is nothing special, cant see in person why he was so much money.

here a pic . Is this what you guys call encrusted?
