CF/PC ballast

I am looking to replace ballast for 2x130W Compact Fluorescent in my 6foot Odyssea fixture. I am having extremly difficult time finding an appropriate ballast. (260W CF/ PC). I cant find anything that would light up those CF again.

Please Help!!!

Please correct me. CF and PC are powered by the same type of ballast. I also learned that I could use a 300W ballast, it would override the bulbs a little, but thats ok if I cant find exactly 260W.

Any local fixture builders, electronic gurus ... please advice me what to do.

The fixture is two bulbs, 130W each.

Well, that is 1x130W ballast. The only problem with going 2x130W ballast is that I have only one wire going from the external ballast enclosure to the fixture, so I would think I would have to connect the ballasts together. I was told that it would not work out.

Maybe as a last resort i will install the CF ballast internally in the fixture. (I would have to check if the ballasts would fit

An icecap 660 should do that combo w/ no problems.....

Well, after talking to a rep from marinedepot.com, I know that Icecap 660 lamp load is 4 @ 110 Watts. It means you can have up to 4x110W bulbs. Well I need 2 but at 130W.

Please, keep the ideas coming.

Here's a link to Premium Aquatics description of the IceCap 660. Says it will run 2, 3 or 4 bulbs as long as they don't go over 440 watts. Also states that it will run PCs.

Yup, you are right on the target guys. Even IceCap 430 would do it since its max is 330W. Confirme by PremiumAquatics.com

Finally, thank to azrednex I was able to find part suppliers for Odyssea equipment: www.aquatraders.com. They had the ballast I was looking for in stock. The ballast was less than $30, with shipping $42. I am so glad to be able to find this part. Thanks to azrednex
