Chaeto and mp10 foam cover

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a baseball sized wad of chaeto if anyone has some that they usually just prune and toss.

Also looking for a foam pre-filter for the wet side of a mp10 for water changes and new nem introduction. Let me know if you have one laying around and how much.

Hmm, I've thought about dragons breath, but I think I need something free floating.. Like chaeto. My pistol shrimp will chop it up nicely and it will all end up stuck to the skimmer intake..

Now the problem is my mp10 wet side broke today.. Ugh. The ceramic coating on the metal shaft broke while it was running and jammed.

that has happened to me several times, you can buy the wet side base with the shaft for about $20, I have not been real happy with the durability of the MP-10s, I have two of them and have had to replace a dry side a wet side and two of the shafts. For as expensive as they are they should hold up better.

reddish orange leafy macro algae, if kept in brighter light it goes from brick red base to orange/gold tips. it is actually pretty in display tanks if you have low flow so it can stay in place.

will not attach to rocks so you have to pinch base between a couple of frag disks to anchor it

Last week I got my wet side base/shaft back from ecotech and they gave me a new one (probably a refurb.) for free! Not only that, but they threw in a really nice pair of frag cutters for free!!



This is the second time I've contacted their service department and have been thoroughly impressed with their customer service.
