Have been weeding out my two fuges this past wknd and have a 5 gal bucket full of chaeto. There are some pods and a few tiny sea stars (not asterina) and it's quite green and clean. It is thin and filamentous and grows quickly. It's really good for taking the phosphates out of your tank.
I am aerating this bucket but it has no light. I figure it will keep til the wnd--and if I get some interest I may even put a light over it! I can divide it evenly among those interested. But if no interest I am pitching it---any takers?
