Chaeto vs calurpa

I Have heard Chaeto is better that calurpa.
Is there a cleveland based place you can buy Chaeto. I was wondering, i am a bit new to the hobby

i got my chaeto at salty critter. if you are new to the hobby, head up there, it is worth the trip. not only can you look at all the cool stuff to help plan your tank, the staff there is very knowledgeable and friendly and they will help you with any questions you have.

yepo was just there unfortuatly i didnt hear of it before i went out there. its like 1 and 15 minutes from me. I am on cleveland east burbs

I have loads of cheato if you are anywhere near Massillon and want to pick it up FREE! I keep saving it and it's in a 30 gallon tall tank right now. I'll be getting some fish to put in ithat tank for QT so it will be thrown away if nobody wants it.

I think cheato is easier to keep going but caulerpa probably soaks up nutrients faster ,I use both and the caulerpa grows like crazy sometimes. If it starts dying get it out fast

I have run both in my setups. I like the chaeto due to its ease of maintenance. Although I cannot prove it, I suspect my caulerpa had something to do with my last tank crash. Eventually, it began to die off. Once it did, nothing but problems resulted.
