Seems as though there has been a sighting of this beautiful species in Japan....

yup!

that fish was sighted by a group of japanese divers. when i first saw the photos i was REALLY excited and i had to write it up immediately!

super cool fish and i really want to own one!

but sadly that's about as much information as i could find.

does copps know anything about it?

i was hoping copps had more info to share about this enigmatic creature.

the ones that were photographed was a juvenile!

If they make it into the trade, they will all be sold in Asia. The U.S. wouldn't see any that's for sure.

the asian market (japan),

pay top dollar for all rare fishes! the price they're willing to pay is phenomenal and therefore most of the fishes go to them.

i wish some of them would come to my country too!
