chalice bleaching help

Over the past couple of days one of my chalices started to bleach and it's slowly making it's way up the whole coral.

What would you guys recommend? Should I frag it like I would an stn'in sps or is it best to leave it be and hope it recovers?

Usually Chalices bleach in low nutrient systems. Sometimes GFO is the problem if it is in a LNS.

They tend to thrive in low light, medium-low flow, and medium nutrients.

Leave it and see if you can fix the parameter issues. Frag the old skeleton after it has started to recover. Otherwise, you are just chasing your tail. HTH

thanks for the advice. I left them be and have returned back to a solid crisp color! Chalices are awesome. I'm going to be adding more to my collection soon, now that all is well!
