This is my 120g system dominated by enchinophllyia corals. The system has been up and running for about 4 years now. Some of the chalices ive had for 6 years or more

I am running two 250w 20k radium bulbs, no other supplementation. I also have a kalkreactor setup to my auto top off system. Im also running a calcium reactor. I do a 20 gallon water change every two weeks. So far the system has been running great. I do dose in extra magnesium, which always seems to be on the low side.

amazing tank , i love chalices although i have never kept any yet . i am a little intimidated but i think i am going to try some soon . i am going to use your tank as an inspiration . thanks for sharing .

Beautiful collection indeed!

I could see that you grow green birds nest together with the chalices- don't they require different light intensity? How come the chalices don't get bleached?

I like it! Have any grown into each other? Do they battle each other like sps?

I have 4 chalices that have grown into each other. Oregon mummy eye and bubblegum monster have grown together. Pastel chalice and Purple Urkel have gown together. It is real hit or miss on which ones will get along. Usually if they are flat and have the small pimples over the surface they get along well. If they have the raised corallites they dont get along with others. Some, such as the keylime mango chalice doesnt get along with anyone. Its all trial and error, and i have had a couple instances where ive lost half a chalice because of aggression
Here are pics of them grown together

As you can see most of the chalices stay atleast 18" or more away from the halides. The birdsnest seem to grow fine with such low light. The chalices do sting and kill parts of the birdsnest if they get too close.

I like the coraline "frame" look you got going
May be time for some razor blades.
Really though, your tank is awesome, I love seeing big chalices.
