I have a super hot pink chalice that is growing on a flat piece of rock. the potential problem is that the rock has some type of red algae growing on it. not slime algae just some bristly short algae. will the chalice grow right over it or will this stop it?
the piece was purchased at lfs and has grown substantially, i asked at about every visit until they gave in and sold it to me. the coral is beautiful and healthy and appears to be growing.
i have taken the rock out and scrubbed it hard best i could, just curious if anyone else has experience w/ any problems arising from this.
thanks,
jess
