no lighting change or chem parameters have fluctuated. tank is 1 yr old and no nuisance algae to speak of. up till now the growth has been amazing on this chalice. i did redo the placement of the chalice recently it shifted left about 6 inches and then i noticed a slight thin brown algae at the south base with some receding. i angled more flow at the chalice and the film went away but the pale polyp free receding seems to be continuing north.
should i frag off the south receding plate area? i have never fragged so am a bit nervous but if this continues i will lose her anyway
