Chalice receding

I have had this bubble gum monster that has started to recede on one side while growing on the other. Over the past couple months it has grown significantly and popped about 4 new eyes.

Nitrates - undetectable
Phos - .03
Cal - 445
Alk 7.7
Mag 1380

Have dipped chalice in Revive and it didn't seem to help.

Tagging along because I have a very large, very nice watermelon chalice that is receeding rapidly. Curious about answers.
