What are the requirements to keep chalices? I picked one up from WWC almost a year ago and it hasn't grown at all and seems to have bleached quite a bit. I have a 65 with 2 LA mini's running Icecap 250 watt ballasts with Radiums and 3 Actinic VHO's. For flow I have a Vortech on 100% Reef crest mode and for filtration I have an Alpha Vertex Cone 170. DO I need to spot feed it? I picked it up to see how they do in my tank and am not very happy so far.

I have it on the sandbed in a corner to reduce the amount of light it gets in case that's the problem. All SPS are doing great. Sorry if this is the wrong place for this question, but it looks like the experts are all here! :D
 
Yes, alk over the last year has run 9-10 and mag is ~1500. I did have an alk spike a few weeks ago, but the problems were long before that. Thanks!

Chris, I noticed you live in D.C. Do you ever get some extra frags from those beautiful corals? (I'm in Annapolis)

Not sure if I could afford to give anywhere near what they're probably worth, but I figured I may as well ask. ;)
