"challice" pics...lets see em!

I bought this one over a year ago. The FTC will always have a yellow/orange growth rim. Sometimes don't get the whitish striations around the eyes until the frag grows a little older; but this is a physical characterisitic of this chalice as well. Yellow eyes with white tentacles are another couple of identifying factors.

Beleive it's the same as the "BPC;" not sure what BPC is referring to... I've seen photos of "BPC" FTCs that don't have the characteristics described above; it's kind of like the Bubble Gum Monster. People will claim to have it but it's not exactly the same. My question is how long has BPC been claiming the FLC?

I'm very pleased with it; harder chalice as well; it's been through a few moves. Likes the bottom of the tank but not on the sand; not a lot of water flow; otherwise, needs stable conditions for growth.

BPC got it from Hooked. Hooked owned the whole colony and fragged it up before a local swap almost 3 years ago. She sold pieces of it at that swap. Thats when they named it.

Very nice Peter. I got one similar to that back in September. I had the hardest time acclimating it to my halides even in the farthest spot from the light. Now I can put it just about anywhere and its finally healthy and starting to grow.

Thanks for posting the pic GB. I actually had it for a couple of years before I fragged it. It had colored up and was growing nicely and had developed the yellow/orange rim. I fragged it because it was too big for my tank and was stinging the crap outta everything.

And those "small pieces" were about 3-4 eyes. A few people got a bargain.
