Had some fun with the camera tonight... here are some updated shots. All my pieces are FINALLY glued in place! No more floating around the frag rack or hockey pucking around the floor of the tank :lol:

question, been thinking about adding a chalice to my tank. softy/lps tank. i have 2 250 watt MH on it. what kind of flow and lighting do these typically prefer? placement in tank, its a 220 30in tall?
are they hardy?

I have the same wattage and height. My chalices are all from 1/3 down to 3/4 down from the top... depending on specimen. IME they like more light than people think, at least some do...

Here's a new chalice I got yesterday. I'm thinking about going back and getting the mother colony as soon as I can. It's almost half red and half purple with bright pink eyes. My frag only has some purple, but it'll get better and better I'm sure.

Picked this guy up at the local fish store, has a dark red body with hints of green with a whitish/purplish rim. I want to see how this piece colors up. Pics were taken with a cell phone, wish I had better
