Jose,
Only 80 of them:eek2: Compared to how many SPS goodies?
As you know there is more coming down the pipe line.I'm sure we will see another new one next week. Just look at how long this thread is already.
To me sounds like you need a big tank?:D
Or you can ALWAYS send them to Florida?I hate to tell you this, but I only have about 4 chalice corals.you know me SPS addict?

Good old curt, always the antagonist.
I'm actually sitting on a pretty nice one I picked up about 5 weeks ago. I'm just waiting for it to color up a little bit more. It was pretty brown when I got it, but now the colors are starting to shine. I'll work on getting a pic.

Drew,
Only pulling your chain here.Yea good old Curt.is only in the hobby 1 more year.Another reason why LPS weren't really added. It's time to move on.The SPS are already spoken for, when the time comes.Time to retire, and won't have the time any more.It ties me to the house to much.We want to travel. So let's the pic before I retire bro....Not pulling your leg on this one. It's time....

well here is one that has recently started to do something. I've had this for a while but never really did anything. I guess it needed more light.

This coral is an echinomorpha. I had never heard of this species until recently. I would describe it as a chalice with one central mouth.

Echinomorpha is a type of chalice, yes. They have been around for a long time, in the hobby. Just not seen as often as the echinophyllia/echinopora/oxypora/mycedium.

Nice looking coral, BTW.

Thanks kev, i got it from atlantis :)
That's the ATL Darth Maul, the only one that has sold from the mother colony is Matt. Not to bust your chops, Ming's DM is a very nice piece as well, just not the same lineage.:)

Me and a couple other locals got the whole colony in....good sized piece...we split it thee ways. For the least money, I got the most ungainly piece...gonna be hell to glue

Here's the whole piece...has lost a tad bit of the pink, but otherwise doing well....still unsure how much light to give it in the main display...

from a reefer or a LFS? just curious....really is absolutley beautiful!

I think it came from Florida, actually. I wasn't in charge of the ordering :o Wasn't just a reefer frag though, if that's what you mean.

start off low and then move up accordingly, I have some pink watermelons, like my Jayda that loves open moderate light and then there's my Bazooka Joe that likes lower/diffused light

Yeah, I'll start it on the floor......31" tall tank, 250W 14K phoenix on icecaps.
