God I hope not! that wasn't my intention at all LOL!!! I was considering buying a frag and wasn't sure, that's why I asked here but now forget it...I want one!!!!

That piece was at a lfs store by me and was supposed to be mine. It looked nothing like that in the store. It sat there for a few months. The whole piece was sold for $80. The frag price is insane!

I'm super happy with the growth on my mummy eye:

My watermelon, on the other hand, is pretty much dead It never grew an eye, and just has never really been happy in my tank

Peter nice growth on your ME.. try moving the watermelon maybe its not happy where it sits.. hope it gets better nad faster growth next yr

Thanks. I've tried moving it a few times. It either does nothing at all, or receeds very slowly. I'm frankly over it :-/

I think I have that one... just cannot get it to color up that nice... what's your setup? and how far down in the tank? lots of light or little?

I bought early this yr as a frag and now its a nice mini colony and it used to be on my 180g with 20k helios now its in the cube with 20k radiums..

not to get off topic but how did you like your 20K Helios compared to the 20K Radiums?

Both are ok .. I have the 3x250 DE on my 180g and so far all my stuff colors up pretty good. I have been hearing good things about the radiums. Now I have a new cube and I go with that route this time . So far no complains but too early to tell .
