Chameleons to trade.......No, REALLY

Hey guys,

I don't know if anyone else is as retarded as I am and have multiple time and money consuming hobbies but........

I have a few 4 month old panther chameleons, males and females, that I'd like to move. I've just hatched out about 50 more from two different bloodlines and want to make some room.

I'd like to trade for select corals and/or anemones. Looking for GBTA's and RBTA's or any of the higher end SPS and LPS.

Anyway here is IceFyre, the Sire of the babies. I have pics as far back as great granddad on both sides. They are from great bloodlines.

Let me know if there is any interest.

Thanks,
Kevin

Could I see a picture of your whole setup? I am interested in seeing what type of system raising these guys intales in.

thanks

The setup for keeping on or two is nothing really. I'll try to upload a pic in a minute.

My display cage is 25w X 15d X 36h .

It has a regular light bulb to generate heat in a basking spot to a temp of 92, a linear UVB 5.0 bulb to provide ultraviolet light needed for bone growth, and a plastic dripper to give him water to drink.

The inside is set up with branches and fake vines for him to crawl on and bask on, fake leaves to give him security and to drip the water onto for him to drink. At the bottom a have a large (6x12x6) tupperware container to catch the dripping water. He gets watered twice a day, fed once a day, and the container get emptied weekly.

He eats only live food which consists of crickets and dubia roaches right now. These are dusted with calcium, D3, and vitamins on a rotating schedule as needed.

Now to talk about breeding that would take quite a write up......not that it's difficult just involved. If you want to know more about breeding I could give you a call or something.

Thanks,
Kevin

No breeding just curious about a setup i currently have no reptiles it was just intreging to me. I don't think i could afford 2 hobbies right now thanks though.

Here's the pic.

Just keeping one isn't an ongoing expense.......mainly just food, ie. buying crickets. I raise my own dubia roaches that eat table scraps so feeding my adults isn't bad....but feeding 50 babies adds up quick. I go through 1000 crickets a week at $15 per 1000 plus shipping.:rolleye1:

LDMF;

Thanks for the link. I have about 2000 now and nother 4000 on their way so it's probably not worth the drive for me.

There are a couple more pics on my website of both of the breeder males. It's pretty neat how different they are.

Hey, Kevin, after seeing that I'm wondering if you're the Kevin I'm thinking of. My name is Jesse and I live over in New Ken. Do I know you???????

Hey Jesse,

Yep It's me........I think..........Actually You might be thinking of another Kevin all together. :D :D

Been out of the scene for a while after multiple disasters last year. I'm just now getting the tank back together and pretty much starting off fresh.

Shoot over a PM if you want to BS some more or give me a ring sometime.
