change port 80

Hi
IF I want to change port 80 (as the default for the Apex) to another port ,(and I use a static IP address, is it a must , to add after the IP address the port number ? (Like http: xx.xxx.xx.xx:yyyy , or is there a way stay only with the static IP to get to the Apex directly?

You don't have to change the port to have a static IP. However, if you change the port you must include it after the IP address or hostname.
