My concern over the weight of the 110 is too much for me to risk it, so it will go into storage until I move.
To make myself feel better I'm going to make some changes to my 55.
- Getting rid of the 260 pc and putting 2x175mh with 80w of actinic for the pretty color. My plan it to put the light high over the tank and lower it over the course of the next month or so.
- I'm removing about 1/3 of my rock and replacing it with some nice purple rock from my buddy’s tank. I'll probably lose about 10lbs.
- Putting in a small sump to grow some macro and to give me a better place to add top off
- Increasing my flow from ~12x to ~23x
The light change is the biggest concern, but I'm sure there are some other things I not thinking of.
