How often do you change your carbon media?

I was changing it every 2 weeks, but switched to monthly with no noticeable change.

Remember to rinse it well before using. At first I was rinsing with tap water then it dawned on me that I could be exhausting it and switch to rodi ever since.

I use the cheap BRS GFO/Carbon dual reactor and change both every 3 weeks. I also use the low grade gfo & carbon from BRS.
