Changing end caps on a t5 fixture

How hard is it to change out the end caps on a T5 fixture? I was cleaning on my Finnex T5 4X24W light this evening to get it ready to sale and when I took 2 of the bulbs out, the black plastic piece that turns to lock the bulb in place broke.

I'm glad it did it to me before I sold it to someone. So now I need to replace some end caps and thinking it would be best to just replace all 8. I did contact Finnex to see if maybe they could sale me or give me replacement parts.

But my main concern is, how hard of a job is this? I might just sale it as is and let someone else with more experience fix it.

I have attached a picture with the broken parts circled in yellow. I guess those are what you call end caps?

Do you have to solder wires? I haven't really looked into it yet. Probably gonna take the light to work with me tomorrow and open it up.

if ya want a professional and safer look yes, wire nuts or electric tape are other options, but thats only if ya have to slice the wire......you should be able to just pull the wires out of the end cap,if not then just break it open,if ya do you'll end up seeing what an easy looking thing an endcap is on the inside and then wonder how the crap do companies charge so much to buy em lol
