Changing my carbon filter RO/DI

Hello, I have a Speatrapure RO?DI machine and I bought some BRS filters, it seems that the carbon filter is different and it does not fit in my machine, is there a difference? Thanks

explain? the 10" long ones are all universal and fit all units unless yours is modified in some strange way (or an ro buddie unit)... just push the filter into place and line up the holes. its a seal so you gotta push it into canister base then make sure straight and screw canister into unit. much harder to get lined up if unit is horizontal.

If you havent changed it in a while, sometimes the rubber gaskets get stuck to the mating surfaces. Make sure you dont have an extra one stuck on there, cause that can keep you from being able to tighten it all the way.

It seems that the Speactrapure ones have a full opening and the BRS less, I will post pictures tomorrow to show what I mean.
