As the title says I want to change my powerhead on my 12g aquapod. but i really dont really have a clue what to do. I was wondering if anyone had detailed diagrams and instructions on how to do this. Also My tank already has LR and a few pieces of coral in it so i dont really want to make a mess.

Oh and this is my first post. HI :wavehand:

Well,
I would use a Eheim 600 pump. I have one in my 12 JBJ.
Great little pump for about $21.00.
Or a MJ600 or MJ900 for about $18.00
Anyone of these pumps are going to work well for you.
You just need to do it, it's not hard. Take your time.
1/2 the fun is doing and learning "how to".

I used a MJ900. Simply disconnect the plastic return hose from the tank inlet & remove the existing pump with the return hose attached. Disconnect the hose from the old pump, attach it to the MJ, put the new pump into the well and reattach the return hose to the tank inlet.
Reroute the power cord back into the slot so the lid will close properly. Bend carefully so it doesn't crack. The whole job should take less than 5 minutes.
