I have a 20l with pool filter sand and found a 20lb bag of seachem live sand and petsmart for $8. If I change the sand should I be ok with the curing process or will it throw everything off?
20 liter as in 5 gallon tank? 20lbs is a lot of sand for a 5 gal. tank, but I have changed the sand in my tanks several times with no deleterious effects. I assume you have some live rock as well. Any pictures?
20 long sry bout that. Not so much as a worry any more . Went and bought the bag of sand, got home and my week old misbar clown was sucked up by the maxijet so now im back to 2 turbo snails. Even after rinsing this stuff is prety cloudy compared to the pool sand.
