OK guys, i have had my current sand for 1 year now, and while its good in that it stays where is should be, doesn't look very attractive. I reakon the grain size is 1-2m, and its not white, more off white, and now its starting to go a wee bitty grey on top.
What I really want though, is the sugar fine pure white silica sand stuff. At the moment, the sand is only 2-3cm deep.
So my questions is.
Should I leave the current sand, and put the new stuff on top OR
take out maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of the current sand and out in the new stuff.
Any advice, Cons and all welcome!!
Ps. I am visitng NYC and Houston at xmas an want to visit some shops. Any recommendations?
