Changing tanks and adding a sump?

I currently have the osmolater with the brown box in my main tank. I am putting up a new tank with a sump and am wondering if I just put the whole box into the sump or do I seperate the parts and just use the sensors. Thanks.

You will want the install kit to not use the box. It simplifies the installation and avoids many problems, it is kit 3155.25 and costs about $22.
