How often should I change the water and how much? I did my first dose of copper and will add more drops tomorow.

If I change the water do I add more copper. What is the dosage that I want to maintain for 2 weeks?

When should I start seeing improvement with my fish's ich spots?

Thanks for the help!
:P

if the tank is cycled,,try to wait to change after the treatment period. if you must change..add enough copper to water changing to equal what level should be.

follow manuf directions they vary.

could take up to 1.5 weeks or so

I know it isn't recommended but can I l keep some copper, a low dose, in the QT to kill any ich that a new fish may have? I read that some people do this at a low level so that the fish will definately not have ich when it goes into the display tank. (kind of like how the LFS keeps the salinity level at .017 to combat ich in their tanks)

Thank you for the advice..my foxface already looks better. His color came back and he is swimming all over the place in the QT.
