I believe that I have read a post or two on this site where someone had stated that montiporas and acroporas have different structured polyps, I am referring to the "fingers" coming off of the polyps themselves.
The point of this question is to ID a coral of a friend of mine that he has a great macro picture of. It has 10 "fingers" on the polyp whare a Macro of a sunset has 12 "fingers". The coral is only encrusting at this point and it is such a small frag that it is very hard to tell if it will branch or not.
Can someone point me in the right direction for this Identification info?
