Cheap Snails

What do you guys think of these snails? The prices are really cheap. Would they ever go on the rocks or just stick to the substrate and glass? Do they eat algae only or would they eat left over food that fish don't get to?

If the Nassarius are anything like the ones naturally found down here then they'll stay to the sand and ignore everything else. I doubt they'll touch algae, but uneaten food is right up their alley.

The Periwinkles will find every chance they can to commit suicide.

I did research on this as well and the Periwinkles will only stay at the top of the glass and fall out of the tank, they are not meant for the reef tank

You want Nassarius Vibex. Read up on Nassarius Obsoletus, not what you want.
