cheap source of shallow "tanks"

hey everyone, I'm looking for some sort of a tank, considering setting up a grow out, that's in the 48x24x12T range, or there about. I would prefer something with 90 degree edges (unlike the rubbermaid stock tanks) that is relatively light weight. Any suggestions? It's not got to be clear, glass, or pretty. I am looking for 1, but would like to be able to expand to 2 or 3 in the future, if needed.

GlassCages has a 70Wide for about $335 after bulkheads and an overflow, which isn't horrible, but just curious if anyone has seen something else that might work for less.

Thanks!

another idea is to use a piece of pvc pipe running horizontal for the overflow

somebody later in the thread i saw modified it to a slot cut by a table saw in the pvc instead of all the holes

James, thanks for those, I'd seen those both, but it'd been a while. Cool stuff for sure.

Thanks for the leads, I was hoping to get something not necessarily designed for aquarium use, and cheap. I THINK I'm just going to build my own setup. For the price of two sheets of plywood ($30 for the good 1/2" stuff) I can build a 48x24x24 sump and a 48x36x12T tank. I'll probably just do stand pipes straight in the tank without an overflow wall, I'm not looking for pretty, just functional.

Thanks guys!
