Hi
Just set up a sump and the micro bobbles in the sump were making a mess so I bought some of the cheap sponges from grocery store to wedge in there and slow the bubbles down. I noticed about half hour later my skimmer was wiggin out Overflowing, there wasnt any soap or anything in the sponge,,,they were brand new. Has anyone else every used these ? They were ocelo brand...I read package didnt say anything about toxic or having any chemical in them. There just the colored sponge you would normally use to wash dishes. Its not the antibacteral kind.

Ok update i dug out of trash says not for aquarium use!!! fudge man and i see my frog spawn and rics are closing up!! damn I hope i didnt wipe my tank!!!

anyone else do anything this stupid ???

thanks
