Cheapest place for filter socks?

I need a box load, lol... I can honestly say there are no benefits to having a aquarium in your garage unless it is sealed shut. I have countless beatles, misquitos and flies in my sump and clogging my filter socks within a day or two.

I am serious about a box load, looking for at least 10-20 of them, preferably 6" +

Hey Mike, yeah dude I've got a few. They are 7" Black plastic rings with 100 micron socks.

I think I can scrounge up 10 new ones.

Cheap but you have to buy at least 25 of them I think but it brings the price down to like $3 per sock.

they enter through both the display and sump, so no screen is going to help, I am thinking of just insulating the garage and running the AC in here.

Sorry to derail the thread but why do you have the tank in your garage? I see a lot of people that do that and I can't understand why.

My garage is a bit of a hang out, pool table, tv, domino table, we play poker out there, etc. Thought it would be cool to have the tank in there.

Besides that, in the house, I didn't have the room or extra room to put the equipment (alot of equipment) so I just decided to have it all in the garage and organize it nicely.

Once ventilated and the AC running in there, I think it will definitely top it off...
