cheapest place to get emerald crabs in bulk?
well today i noticed something popped a few of the green bubbles in my tank. so im trying to get a bunch of emeralds to help. plus they happened to be one of my favorite crabs. i want 20 of them.

Cheapest ive seen is at TPP when they do invert sales... think ive gotten em for around 3.50 or so... could aks Dr mac a Q like that and he might cut you a deal?

to be honest IMHO I wouldnt go this route if I were you. I liked emeralds untill they systematically killed all of my crabs. I admit I feed lightly, but they are voratious feeders. 2 or 3 in a 90 would probably be fine along with some more hermits or smails. but if you get 20 most will die of starvation, the rest will start hunting...

I couldn't agree more. You'll eliminate a problem and buy a nightmare. There are several Mithrax species, and all are opportunistic omnivores.

I agree on the starving also... I would say at most 5.

the green bubble could of popped itself by getting to large... I have popped a couple of these bubbles in my tank while trying to remove them from rocks and have had no out breaks. I know the rumor is millions of bubble algae spoors will be in the water column but untill you start seeing it i wouldnt worry to heavily about it.
